The Nourishment Of Travel
A Poem To Inspire Travel
By: Ryan Ashley Knowles
In realms beyond the familiar gaze, Where horizons dance with golden haze, Travel calls the adventurous heart, To journeys where new stories start.
The mind, a canvas, blank and wide, In foreign lands, it comes alive, Absorbing cultures, languages untold, A symphony of thoughts unfolds.
Through ancient ruins and modern sights, The intellect sets off on wondrous flights, Expanding like the boundless sea, In the realm of travel, the spirit roams free.
The body too, finds vigor there, In foreign air, a vibrant flair, With every step on foreign soil, A youthful vigor starts to coil.
Up mountains steep, and valleys low, The body's strength begins to grow, Through rivers, oceans, and cities vast, Each moment is a feast to forever last.
The spirit too, seeks its own flight, In travel's realm, it shines so bright, Awakening like the quiet morning sun, A tapestry of dreams have begun.
In temples grand, it finds its peace, In nature's arms, a sweet release, The soul's connection, pure and deep, In travel's embrace, it finds its keep.
The youthful tool, curiosity, Forever stays, and sets us free, For every road, a question blooms, A thirst for knowledge will resume.
In foreign lands, we're born anew, With childlike wonder, skies so blue, In seeking wonders, we're made whole, Curiosity, the heart's own goal.
So let us wander, roam, and roam, Through lands and seas, we'll call it home, For travel offers nourishment, A soulful feast, divine ascent.
With open hearts and minds aglow, We'll let our spirits freely flow, In travel's dance, forever bound, To the wonders waiting to be found.
